Mako Miyatake 宮武茉子
I am a second-year PhD student in Mechanical Engineering at UC Berkeley, working in the Morphing Matter Lab advised by Prof. Lining Yao. My research background is in engineering and I also trained as a professional chef in Japan. Through my research, I aim to leverage my expertise in food 3D printing and computational design software development to push the boundaries of food design and address challenges within our food systems.
